Computer Repair Technician Vacancy (no Agencies)
Computer repairs to be undertaken on Laptops and Desktop, software troubleshooting skills and soldering skills required. Previous experience is essential
Duties/Responsibilities
• Diagnosis and repair• Part replacements (screens, inverters, hard drives, keyboards, motherboards etc)
• Component level repairs
• Data recovery
• Software and system repairs (upgrades, installations, virus cleaning)
• Dealing with members of the public both in our retail store, telephone and email
Technical Skills
• Apple Mac and PC• Hardware and software repair knowledge
• Soldering skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Experience in a workshop environment
• Understanding of escalation processes
Desired Skills
• Console, tablet and smartphone repairs would be an advantageThe Person
