Solid State Drives (SSD)

A solid state drive is a hard drive that works in a different way to your conventional hard drive in a laptop or desktop computer.
They do the same job of storing your data but they do it in a much better way. Instead of storing your data on a spinning disk, like a conventional hard drive, they store the data much in the same way as a pen drive.
This means that it can read and write data much faster, but what does this mean to you?
This means that windows will boot (turn on) much quicker. It also means that opening your programs will be much faster.
So if you are looking for super fast boot times and super fast load times, it would be a wise investment to look into getting a solid state drive for your desktop or laptop computer.
